There’s nothing like a streaker to make for a memorable beach wedding! But we’ll get to that in a minute…Heidi and David were visiting from Michigan and booked one of our Snooze and Cruise Simple Wedding Packages through the Chase Suites Hotel in Tampa. As part of this package, the Chase Suites provides transportation from the airport to the hotel, to and from the courthouse to pick up their Florida marriage license, and to the Port of Tampa for the couples' Honeymoon Cruise. And of course, Simple Weddings provided the couples' Beach Wedding package!
Heidi and David chose to hold their Florida Beach Wedding on Treasure Island’s aptly named Sunset Beach, and it certainly lived up to its name. They had an intimate and incredibly romantic wedding ceremony with just their parents, siblings, and a few close friends present. David and Heidi looked absolutely stunning, and their wedding was full of love and laughter. Everyone agreed it was absolutely perfect!
And here’s the best part...Apparently some of David and Heidi's wedding guests had asked the
couple in earnest what they should wear to their beach wedding. David jokingly told them, "It's a laid-back beach wedding, wear whatever you want...wear a Speedo if you like". Well, that was all it took for David's friend, Kevin. He picked up a brand new black and red pair of Speedos the morning of the wedding, and as soon as Jeff said “you may kiss the bride”, Kevin stripped off his clothes and went running into the Gulf of Mexico in nothing but his Speedos! He then quite happily posed for wedding pictures in them - The entire wedding party was hysterical!
